Unstoppable with NBK. One pause, both laptops, mics on.

sound familiar?

Watching aha long distance? We know this chat by heart.

Counting down over text. Somebody always ends up a few seconds ahead. You hear the laugh before you see the joke.

With Flickcall there is no countdown. One play button runs both laptops, and a pause on one side is a pause on both.

aha watch party FAQs

Does aha have a watch party feature?

The aha web player has no watch party button. Flickcall adds one: a free aha watch party extension for Chrome that keeps the movie or show in sync for everyone in the party, with video chat beside the player.

Can we watch aha together on Discord?

Screen sharing aha on Discord can show your friends a black screen. With Flickcall nobody shares a screen: each of you plays aha on your own laptop, and Flickcall keeps the players in sync.

Do we both need an aha account?

Not for a free title: those play without an aha login. A subscriber-only title needs each of you signed in to your own aha plan.

What about the ads on free aha?

Free aha plays an ad break before every episode and a few more partway through. Each laptop gets its own ads; Flickcall holds the party until both have finished, then plays on together.

Does the next episode follow for both of us?

Yes. When the host opens the next episode, the other laptop moves with them, and the new episode's ad break plays for both before the party resumes.

Can we watch aha together long distance?

Yes, from different cities or countries, as long as aha streams the title where each of you is. Free titles may not play outside India.

Can I join an aha watch party on my phone?

No. Flickcall runs in Chrome on a laptop or desktop. Phones aren't supported.

Is Flickcall free?

Yes. Core features like video playback sync and chat are free on every supported platform. Video and voice chat come with a free weekly allowance. Paid plans unlock unlimited video chat, and only one person in the party needs one.
