What you need for a Sun NXT watch party

  • Each of you signed in to Sun NXT on your own laptop. Free-section titles need only a login; the rest needs a plan that covers them.
  • Chrome on a laptop or desktop works best. Other Chrome-based browsers may work too. Phones can't run Flickcall.
  • The Flickcall extension, free to add. A free Flickcall account turns on video chat.
  • A one-time Chrome permission for each of you. Without it, the Flickcall logo doesn't show on sunnxt.com.

Does Sun NXT have a watch party feature?

The Sun NXT web player has no watch party button. Flickcall adds one: a free Sun NXT watch party extension for Chrome that keeps the movie in sync for everyone in the party, with video chat beside the player.

Can we watch Sun NXT together on Discord?

Screen sharing Sun NXT on Discord can show your friends a black screen. With Flickcall nobody shares a screen: each of you plays Sun NXT on your own laptop, and Flickcall keeps the players in sync.

Do we both need a Sun NXT login?

Yes. Sign in to Sun NXT on both laptops before opening the party link. The Free section needs only a login; other titles need a plan that covers them.

Does the free Sun NXT section work?

Yes. Ads can play before and during the film. Each laptop gets its own; Flickcall holds the party until both have finished, then resumes together.

Can we binge a TV show in one party?

Yes. When the host opens the next episode, the other laptop follows. Open each episode yourself rather than waiting for Sun NXT's autoplay. Live TV channels and the vertical micro-dramas are not supported.

Can we watch Sun NXT together long distance?

Yes, from different cities or countries, as long as Sun NXT streams the title where each of you is.

Can I join a Sun NXT watch party on my phone?

No. Flickcall runs in Chrome on a laptop or desktop. Phones aren't supported.

Is Flickcall free?

Yes. Core features like video playback sync and chat are free on every supported platform. Video and voice chat come with a free weekly allowance. Paid plans unlock unlimited video chat, and only one person in the party needs one.
